Our Client has been supplying printing consumables since 2004. They are the first and only full-cycle manufacturer of printing inks, pastes, varnishes and additives in Central Asia. They are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced candidate to head up the well-equipped laboratory, leading a small team of technicians in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Responsibilities:

• New Product Development and Product Planning
• Maintenance of technical specifications
• Technical equipment identification and maintenance
• Creation of TDS and MSDS to support product range
• Raw Material Evaluation and Testing Procedures
• Staff Technical Relationships
• Technical support to external and internal sales personnel
• Maintenance of formulation records
• Liaison and support to Factory supervisor if required
• Monthly Technical Reporting to CEO on all above issues
• Self-development
• Personnel Development
• Adherence to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy
• Maintenance of appropriate Technical Records
• Adherence to Company’s Lawful and Ethical standards                                                                            
• Additional duties as required and identified by CEO

Profile:

• 10 years in surface coatings, at supervisory level, in pigmented surface coatings, preferably flexo and gravure liquid printing inks
• Fluent in English and possibly Russian                                              
• Degree or Diploma Level in Chemistry
